PLOT

What would you do if you found out your brother was back from the dead?
Jessica was raised in an orphanage with her brother after their parents died. When she was 12, her brother, Jack was taken away and selected by a the secret agency named, Umbra, to undergo experiments.
Jessica was later told that her brother died and she never saw him again, that is until she escaped the orphanage and found him to be back from the dead.

CHARACTERS 

Jessica

Jessica is our main protagonist in the story. She was never selected to go with Umbra like her brother. After she escapes the orphanage and finds her brother, Jessica forfeits living a normal life and tries to uncover the secrets behind Umbra.

She often wonders if there is a cure for her brother and struggles with him not wanting to be cured. 

Jack

Jack is our hero of the story. He has always felt like he had to protect his sister but when he was taken from her and forced into experiments, he was powerless to help her.

Thinking he was dead, Umbra was on their way to dispose of him when suddenly, all of the subjects escaped including himself.

He loves the fact he can't die but is he taking it too far? He cannot heal himself and is slowly starting to deteriorate, something Jessica fears will finally be his own undoing.

Agent Simon Bentley

Agent Bentley is an agent of Umbra. A secret agency that does unquestionable things, calling themselves, "Protectors of the world." 

Simon Bentley started when he was at the young age of 25. Showing them that he could do any job given to him. Once a soldier for the U.S. then a CIA agent, eventually moving into Umbra where he is in charge of security.

His job security is now at risk after the creatures escaped from Umbra and are now wreaking havoc on the city. It is Simon's job to get it under control and he doesn't care who gets in his way, as long as he gets the job done.

Agent Dean Ford

Agent Dean Ford has been with Umbra for 30 years and refuses to take a desk job, instead he prefers the field where he can get his hands dirty.

Dean takes a special interests in the kids they bring in to Umbra, he had two sons of his own, twins named, Josh and Jared. He allowed Umbra to run their experiments on them causing them both to mutate into what Umbra calls, Sniffers. 

Dean also has a long service record, he was once a police officer, then DEA, FBI, and CIA. 

Simon and Dean have been working together on getting all of the subjects under control before it gets out into the media.

Justin (Bulge)

Justin lived at the orphanage with Jack and Jessica. He had a secret he didn't want to tell anyone, he was bulimic. Often times he would run to the bathroom to throw up after eating. 

Once he was taken by Umbra, he mutated into a creature that could take on the abilities of what ever he ate. He found an appetite that couldn't be settled and started eating whatever he could find. 

His powers only grow with him and never go away making him a Class 5 danger according to Umbra.

JOSH (Sniffer)

Josh and his twin brother, Jared are sons of Agent Dean who went through the Umbra experiments and came out "Sniffers" They became the ultimate trackers and perfect for locating escaped subjects. 

Josh and his brother were raised by their mother for most of their lives until she passed away leaving them under the care of Dean.

JEREMY (Nuke Boy)

As a young child he burned his house down, this was also when he discovered his power. He was later taken to the same orphanage where Jessica lived and before Umbra could take him for testing, he burned the place down.
He went into hiding for a short time until he exploded uncontrollably. Now he is a ticking time bomb each explosion he causes gets worse. People fear he will go nuclear and it becomes an issue that Umbra decides to try and remedy.
